REVEREND ROBERT L. CHANDLER

Senior Pastor and Co-founder of Bethel Community Church

Having been nurtured with love and a true reverence for God, Reverend Chandler confessed Christ and was baptized at age 9.

In 1978 the Ocean Grove Baptist Church in Aiken, South Carolina licensed him to preach and five years later, while stationed in Tacoma, Washington during his military service, Reverend Chandler was ordained into the gospel ministry.

Led by the Holy Spirit, Reverend Chandler with his wife, Deborah, founded Bethel Community Church in 2007, where he has continued to spread the Gospel.

The scripture that describes his ministry is found in Acts 3:6 “Silver and gold have I none, but such that I have, I give thee. In the name of Jesus rise up and walk.”
